HOW TO COMBAT SCREEN FATIGUE

We are all spending WAY MORE time in front of screens - not just with work but also, TV, smartphones and other devices. Now our kids are learning from home they too are in front of computers and devices more, so I wanted to share some EASY strategies for screen fatigue.

Here are my 5 top tips:

  1. MOVEMENT - start the day with movement if you are going to be sedentary all day in front of a screen, it will have you thinking clearer and happier to sit and fidgeting less.

  2. FLUX - download this program to reduce your screen brightness, to adjust to the sun's UV rays. This will reduce the impact of melatonin dysregulation effecting sleep patterns.

  3. BLUE BLOCKING GLASSES - my favourites are these (enter discount code EMILY for 10% off) There is scientific research and numerous studies into the benefits of blue blocking glasses.

  4. TAKE BREAKS - structure your day so that you are working more productively. Set a timer for 30 mins so you can focus on a task during that time and then take a quick walk around, make a tea, look outside etc.

  5. GROUND YOURSELF - sounds easy and YES it is really that simple. Walk barefoot and feel the earth beneath you. This enables our bodies to recalibrate which can diffuse EMF fields in the body.

What do you find helps you combat screen fatigue? x
