WHY I LOVE MEAL PLANNING

I’m a huge advocate of meal planning for a number of reasons. Firstly, when you’re busy during the week it is an absolute lifesaver to know what’s for dinner each night. Secondly, meal planning means that you have everything in your house, ready to go so there are no excuses! Last but definitely not least, it will save you money in the long run.

Part of my weekly routine is a Sunday cook up. I like to think of it as self-care. I am organising, preparing, planning and cooking for the week ahead. This helps me avoid the last-minute “WTF am I cooking for dinner” moments and it’s just one less thing to worry about.

I am currently running The Guided Cleanse and one of my beautiful cleansers actually said that she is saving money whilst doing the cleanse because she is more organised, has her meals planned. She told us “Whenever I open the fridge and see the salad dressing and pesto I’ve made, the veggies I’ve pre-chopped, it’s a symbol of my investment in myself. It seems like a small thing, but it’s speaking volumes to my subconscious mind. Like little love letters to myself” - isn’t that just absolutely beautiful?

So, I wanted to offer the meal planner as a free download to my entire community because I’m all about effecting change in as many people as possible. This may not be a huge thing, but as you have read above, the ripple effect of taking 10 mins each week to plan your meals can pay you back in time and money saved, not to mention the good feeling you will get from seeing these little love letters to yourself.
